It has been a rough weekend physically, but I could not pass up going to Evansville Animal Control and taking as many pictures of animals needing homes as possible.  Here are some of the shots I got this weekend:

Olivia has been dying to put a birdhouse out for the birds we always have around the house so I finally let her pick one out today and paint it herself.  She did great!

It's been a very long day so I'm taking the easy way out for this one and posting a couple cell phone shots I took when Olivia and I played on the trampoline for a bit today.

We had a full day today on our rare Saturday mostly at home.  Since it was warm, I went outside for a while to watch Olivia play, listen to the birds, and let Sammy and Quincy hang out a bit outside.

Then we went out for a late lunch and to the book store where my good little reader got herself a couple of new books to stretch herself with.

Quincy is looking and acting so much better!  Hopefully it continues to go that way for a very long time.  His fur is back and he plays a lot and is starting to get into everything.
However, he does still nap.  After all, he IS a cat!
